Paris 2.0

The next stop on our Euro-Trip 2k17 was Paris. This was my second time in Paris, and I thoroughly enjoyed it more than the first. We watched the Eiffel Tower light up, strolled around the streets of Paris, had pizza and wine, shopped on Champs Elysees, went up the Arc de Triomphe, watched the Paris vs. Barcelona game in a bar, feasted on speculoos crepes in a park by the Louvre, and ate a significant amount of French bread. Paris was just as magical this time around as the last. The aura of the French capital gives you a sense of sophistication, and the architecture opens your mind to the creativity and talent that went into building this beautiful city.

There’s a reason there are so many songs written about Paris. If you have yet to visit the City of Lights, I would highly recommend it.

My time in Paris was a good one, and I’ll definitely be going back one day. In the words of Audrey Hepburn, “Paris is always a good idea.”
